ASIA
When talking about Asia, people tend to conjure up images of rural villages, rice fields, dusty roads. While such places still exist in parts of Asia, another starkly modern Asia is sprouting up in many places - such as Singapore, Hong Kong.
People in America is complacent with no cell phone coverage in subway tunnles, token systems for public transportation and riding on buses that are 15 years old...
From the view of such an American, going to some Asian cities may seem to be going to a future world - cell phone works everywhere even under the ocean tunnle; riding on the state of the art public transit including viewing the latest news on four or more LCD screens; one pre-paid pass works for subway, bus, ferry even restaurants - all you have to do is to wave your pass, which can be in the form of a ring or a card.
Who's really developed is really a subjective view.
